Home About Welcome LGBTQ

LGBTQ+

The soul which You have given me, O God is a pure one. You have created and formed it, breathed it into me, and within me You sustain it. (Traditional Prayer Book)

God created human beings in the Divine image; whatever our sexual orientation and gender identity we are equally beloved in God’s eyes and equally welcomed within the Temple Isaiah community. Our clergy and teachers model language and openness so that young people in our midst who are questioning their sexual identity, or gender know they are free to ask questions and explore their feelings. We welcome all members of the LGBTQ community who want to create and sustain vibrant Jewish lives into our Jewish neighborhood.
