Are you ready to embark on an epic journey to a galaxy far, far away… on Shabbat? Prepare your lightsabers and don your Jedi robes (optional) because we’re having an interactive Shabbat service infused with the fantastical universe of Star Wars! Through the lens of Star Wars, we’ll explore timeless themes of hope, courage, and the power of unity. The evening is suitable for Padawans of elementary age, but also accepting of younger and older Padawans who love Star Wars! Get ready for some trivia. Invite your friends! Shabbatarama is open to all. If you are friends with non-Temple Isaiah Jewish families with children in K-6th grade, invite them to join in the fun. It is a great way to try out and connect with our Jewish neighborhood. BACK THIS YEAR! Thanks to the Rodan Family Foundation, a family with at least one child in K-6th grade receives up to TWO FREE Shabbatarama dinners between September 2023-May 2024.
