Angel Network

The Angel Network’s mission is to assemble a group of volunteers who are committed to offering comfort and support to Temple members and their families in times of need. The volunteers receive the training necessary to engage in these acts of loving kindness as they reach out to the Temple Isaiah community with helping hands and caring hearts. Our services range from assisting with meals and transport to visits and calls. When a need arises the Angel Network can respond in several ways:

Note: Some activities may not be possible due to Covid-19. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs.

  • Supportive Phone calls and notes
  • Providing meals
  • Offering rides for appointments errands and Temple events
  • Visiting the sick in the hospital or home
  • Ongoing friendly visits
  • Healing Circles (Click here for more info)

There When You Need Us

If you need immediate support with a death, illness, or other urgent matter, please call the Temple office at (925) 283-8575. Email communication may result in delay. We have a wonderful partnership with our clergy, staff, and volunteers who will make sure you get the support you need in a timely manner.

Transportation

Do you sometimes need a ride to services or a special event at Temple? Are you willing to drive fellow congregants to services on occasion? Call our clergy assistant at (925) 283-8575 ext. 308. The Angel Network will match drivers with those in need of an occasional ride.
