Israel Memorial and Independence Day Shabbat
Friday, May 10, 7:30pm in the Sanctuary and on YouTube* followed by a Special Israel & World Jewry Oneg in the Oneg Room
Join us on this Shabbat closest to Yom HaZikaron (Israel Memorial Day) to remember those who gave their lives for Israel, including those since October 7th and Yom Ha’Atzma’ut (Israel Independence Day) to celebrate Israel’s continued existence. Our shinshinit from Israel, Noga Ben Shimol will address the congregation on the eve of her enrolling in the Israel Defense Forces. That evening, there will also be a blessing during the service for all of our Isaiah Circle participants for the 2023-2024 year. The Israel & World Jewry Committee is hosting a special Oneg after services.
