In Judaism, we have the concept of Torah lish’mah – Torah for its own sake. Sometimes Torah’s mere existence is reason enough to study it. Please join Cantor Korn as he puts his own spin on this idea with a solo concert of “Music for its own sake.” Cantor Korn, accompanied by Daniel Lockert, will share music he studied and discovered during his sabbatical time including niggunim, Israeli music and the music of Jewish theater composer Maury Yeston. Join us for another opportunity to welcome Cantor Korn back as we delight in his music-making.
