This class is an exploration and celebration of the very rich music and culture of the Moroccan and Persian Jewish communities. We will explore the stories and music of favorite musical artists from Morocco and Iran, as well as learn of their lifecycle and holiday practices through the lens of both traditional and contemporary music.
