An Afternoon with Anat Hoffman, a Mimi Epstein Lecture
The Struggles Within- Conflicts that Shape Israel’s Identity

Anat Hoffman is like a geologist. After decades of social activism she has learned firsthand what happens to precious elements under pressure overtime. In this conversation she will invite you to a dialogue on the tectonic forces acting now in Israel reshaping society. What don’t we talk about when we discuss Israel’s security?

Anat Hoffman is the former executive director of the Israel Religious Action Center, the legal advocacy arm of the Reform Movement in Israel, and a founding member of Women of the Wall. Anat specializes in issues of religion and state in Israel.

We are fortunate to host Anat Hoffman! Anat has been named one of the BBC’s 100 most influential and inspiring women of 2024! This global honor celebrates her decades-long fight for equality, and religious freedom, elevating women’s voices within Judaism.

We strongly urge folks to attend in person, but understand that some folks cannot. If you are unable to make this event in person, please email rebeccan@temple-isaiah.org with your name and you will be sent the YouTube link the day of the event.
