This group is about bringing together 2nd and 3rd generation children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors. This group will give participants the opportunity to share their lives growing up in the shadow of their parents and their families and could also be an avenue to educate the Temple Isaiah community and beyond. We will meet once a month (future dates to be determined). The meetings will take place at Temple Isaiah where we will create a safe space for all of us. This group will be facilitated by Temple member and child of a Holocaust survivor, Anne Boucart. Note: this is a peer group and not a support group. Rabbi Perlman will join the first gathering as we get started.
