Anshei Isaiah
Anshei Isaiah, founded in 2004, is an organization of men from Temple Isaiah in Lafayette, California. All men affiliated with the Temple—whether Jewish or not—are welcome and invited to join.
Our monthly events are great opportunities for social, intellectual, and spiritual growth. These events range from poker and pool at our annual Game Night to physical and spiritual renewal at the Men’s Retreat to competing for bragging rights on Trivia Night. Anshei Isaiah gives back to both the local and Jewish community. We coordinate and staff overnight supervision for the interfaith “Winter Nights” program for homeless families. This year we are adding the Urban Farmers Project, and Habitat for Humanity to our social action agenda. Additionally, the Anshei Isaiah Temple Youth Fund promotes involvement in Jewish and youth group activities for Temple Isaiah teenagers. AITYF subsidizes the social events for the Temple’s young adults in order to increase the availability to all, regardless of means.

All adult male Temple Isaiah members are welcome. Our members come from different backgrounds and are varied in age and interests. If you would like a stronger connection to the Temple community, are interested in personal growth, or just want to have some fun, Anshei Isaiah is for you!
Dues are $36 per year, which pays for the events and funds the Anshei Isaiah Temple Youth Fund. Please join us. Simply send a check made out to “Anshei Isaiah” and mail to: Temple Isaiah c/o Anshei Isaiah, 945 Risa Road, Lafayette, CA 94549 or join online by clicking the link below.

Anshei Isaiah’s events are the backbone of the organization, providing opportunities for us to come together to learn, have fun, and develop a close-knit community. Our events are as varied as our members, ranging in categories from personal and professional growth, physical well-being, cultural events and spectator sports, politics and social action, to just men being boys.
