YES Fund
Our next YES Fund fundraiser, “Steep It Up!”, will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025, from 12pm to 2pm in the Social Hall. Join us for a wonderful afternoon tea featuring delicious treats as we come together to learn more about the YES Fund.
For decades, Women of Isaiah has proudly supported the YES Fund. Each year, a dedicated group of WOI Past Presidents, along with other passionate advocates of the YES Fund, organizes and sponsors a special event to raise both awareness and funds for this important cause.
This event is open to ALL TEMPLE members and any guests or nonmembers who are interested in participating.
Feel free to invite your partners, friends, and anyone who would enjoy a delightful afternoon filled with tea, fun, philanthropy, and inspiration. We can’t wait to share this meaningful experience with you!
Register by Tuesday, January 21 for numbers!
More About the YES Fund:
WRJ Philanthropy for Social Justice
Since its founding in 1913, Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ) has been committed to strengthening our Reform Movement and ensuring the future of Reform Judaism. Through its philanthropic YES Fund (supporting Youth, Education and Special Projects), WRJ is able to give hundreds of thousands of dollars each year to help empower the leaders of tomorrow - and it’s all because of the collective power of donations made by individuals like YOU!
By contributing to the YES Fund…
YOU elevate women’s voices – championing women around the globe as they stand up for justice, take on increased leadership roles, and use their platforms and voices to make a difference.
YOU bolster youth leadership development - encouraging the next generation of Jewish leaders as they learn how to make a lasting impact on their peers, communities, and the world.
YOU support DEI initiatives – advancing the work of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion by breaking down barriers, promoting racial justice, and lifting up the experiences of People of Color.
YOU strengthen the Jewish community - fostering the development of Jewish clergy and other Jewish professional in Reform and Progressive institutions and communities in North American, Israel, South America, and Europe.
YOU support Reform and Progressive Judaism in Israel – helping changemakers in Israel who are creating more equitable, safe, and inclusive spaces.
YOU contribute to emergency allocations in times of crisis – significantly, WRJ was the first Reform affiliate to donate funds through its YES Fund to our partners in Israel after the horrific events on October 7, providing them with critical support and resources.
