Juniors (Age 4)
Az Hussain
Hello, my name is Az. I have worked for over 16 years in the Early Childhood Education field. I began working with young children at the age of 18 at the Diablo Valley College Children’s Center. I gained hands-on experience working with young children from preschool age all the way to infants, while taking early childhood education courses. I specialized in Anti-Bias curriculum while working with mentors trained in child directed learning of Reggio Emilia Approach. I chose to work in the Early Childhood Education field because it is the foundation for children’s educational future. I feel if the experience is positive and children with families enjoy their learning experiences early in life they will want to continue to learn through their lifetime. I would like to bring this same joy into the classrooms at JQuest by asking open-ended questions and exploring the interests of the children through a Jewish lens. I am excited to join the JQuest Community. My future goal is to be a positive role model to the youth in the community as they find their own identity and pathway.
